Alert Clinic For ADHD
Teaching Parents How ADHD Kids Can Self-Regulate Alertness

To effectively manage their attention, children with attention deficit need to continually monitor, change, and maintain their level of alertness so it is "just right" for the task at hand. The two-hour Alert Clinic gives parents an overview of sensory motor activities ADHD children can use to self-regulate their alertness in real-time. The clinic is based on the Alert Program: How Does Your Engine Run? developed by Occupational Therapists Sherry Shellenberger and Mary Sue Williams, and is a service A Talented Mind provides through its Sensory Alert service for ADHD children.
